Who is Coach Jeremy?

I am humble. I don't even like talking about myself. I am new person every day and the accolades of yesterday don't matter as much as who I'm going to be today. But, I could answer the question of where has my path taken me so far. I have been in the metal health field for a long time. As a gymnastics coach/part time psychologist to the teenagers. Yes I took on that daunting challenge and somehow enjoyed helping kids learn how to get the best out of themselves. My wife Mariah, more about her later, owned a gymnastics gym called Tri-County Gymnastics for almost 10 years. We met coaching gymnastics and built our relationship around an ever expanding program. The experience was incredible but it came with a lot of stress and headaches. But, stress is what builds our resilience and helps us to find a new path, even if we have to walk through some briars first. Our journey as gym owners was fulfilling and meaningful. We stepped away from that experience in order to experience our own children's lives. I have a bigger goal though. It's to help. I want people to live differently, learn to be stronger, and find a way to make their life more meaningful and enjoyable. I went to college at Appalachian State University and studied everything I could. I took so many classes that I was charged extra for going over the allowed credit hours. After four and a half years I left with a degree in English (creative writing) and a minor in philosophy. Neither one of them led me in a straight direction after I graduated so I collected experiences instead of chasing a steady career. If I wanted to learn how to do something, I took a job in an industry that would pay me to learn how it works. I sold computers in order to get closer to the newest technology without having to purchase it myself. I became a MUCH better snowboarder when I became a snowboard instructor. I learned all about the car buying experience by becoming a car salesman, I was too honest for that industry. The one thing that followed me everywhere I went though was my pension for teaching. I teach optimism and acceptance wherever I go. We can control ourselves and not outside events. That is why I want to teach as a life coach, as a podcaster, and as a published author.

Luke & Addi

My kids are the beacons of my world. They are the fire that keeps away the cold. The bright light in the distance of a deep and dark tunnel. They are the motivation I need to be the best version of me. I want them to see me at my best and I want to leave them a great example of someone they might want to be like. Luke is 8 and plays soccer (1st choice), baseball (probably only plays because I did), Rocket League (Schmitt Squad if you see us, you're going down...), and Minecraft. Our daughter Addi is 6 and is a dedicated dancer. Seriously, she's in 5 dances. Kinda crazy, just like her personality. They are both sweet, smart, and behave way better for other people...

Mariah

First of all, my wife is lovely and talented. She grew up a stubborn gymnast, was a stubborn gymnastics coach, and is a... Just kidding. She's amazing. She is an Ultra-Sound Technician and a wonderful mother to the little ones.. She is the kite string to my kite. I might just fly off into the sky if I weren't tethered to reality sometimes. Mariah is my reality check, thanks babe. Our balance works but only because we make it that way. We are invested in each other and we work towards our common goals. She grew up in West Hartford, Connecticut and competed in club gymnastics at UCONN and URI. She has a bachelor's degree in psychology and she uses it against me to gain the upper hand. Kidding again, mostly. She's the angel on my shoulder.

Our team

It's just me. Well and Maggie too, she's our year and a half year old Mini Greyhound thing. She's super hyper and very loud when she wants something, usually it's just play with our neighbor's pit bull, River.
